Buying a house for the first time

I thought I would create this blog as i am starting to house hunt for the very first time and thought it would be good to share my experiences with other people and hopefully to find out what other people are experiencing.
So a little bit about myself... My husband and I got married in August 2013 and with his family coming from Nottingham and him being in the military, we decided to base ourselves near my family in Macclesfield Cheshire.
details about the type of house: we are looking for a 3 bedroom house with somewhere to park for under 140,000 - quite a tight budget I know but let the searching begin! :)
